Penny Austie, 54 of Jamesburg died Tuesday April 26th at her home.
Born in New Brunswick, Miss Austie lived in Monroe Township before moving to Jamesburg over 30 years ago.
She graduated from South Brunswick High School and attended a school in Lyons, NJ for medical assistance, graduating the top of her class. She worked as a medical assistant until her many medical issues forced her to retire.
She was a contestant at the Miss Teen contest in Cherry Hill.
Penny was an animal loved and had many cats in her lifetime, especially her last Rootie Petootie.
She was predeceased by her father Alvin in 1994.
Surviving are her mother Rita (Bracci) Austie of Monroe Township, her sister and brother-in-law Bonnie and Donald Hornby, a nephew Thomas, three nieces Tara, Candice and Ashley and a great nephew Jacob.
